What an amazing start into this new year full of exciting adventures, a lot of travelling and sweet lovestories!
It was my first time in Yosemite Nationalpark and I immediately fell in love with this incredible place. Do you know that feeling, when you have seen thousands of pictures of a place and you kind of think you already know what awaits you there, but then you are standing on the granite rocks, seeing this incredible view by yourself and the feeling is so much better then you thought? It wasn´t just because of the impressive mountains, the fabulous light, the inspiring people I met or the adventurous Elopement I was honored to photograph.
It was the m
agic all this little things created together, what topped all my imaginagens and makes me wanna go back to this place ASAP.
I couldn´t imagine any place in this world, that fits better to this adventurous souls Megan and Zach than Yosemite. They drove the whole way up from Austin, Texas to elope surrounded by the californian mountains. The wather made this special wedding day even more exciting. When I saw the snowflakes falling down in the morning, my heart made a joyful leap. And to top this all, right when we drove into Yosemite Valley it started to get a bit warmer, and even a few sunrays made there way through the clouds. The best thing about snowy winter weather is, that most people stay at home, and we had all this amazing places just for our self. We couldn´t have wished for a more perfect wedding day.
There´s nothing that makes me more happy, than capturing candid lovestories surrounded by a beautiful
landscape. And this Yosemite Elopement outreached all my dreams. You can really see how much they feel at home when they are together in the nature and how deep and genuine they are in love. It´s hard to describe how much I loved capturing their big day, and how much fun we had together. But I think the pictures say it all by them self.
