What an amazing start to this new year full of exciting adventures, a lot of traveling, and sweet love stories!
It was my first time in Yosemite Nationalpark, and I immediately fell in love with this incredible place. Do you know that feeling, when you have seen thousands of pictures of a place and you kind of think you already know what awaits you there, but then you are standing on the granite rocks, seeing this incredible view by yourself and the feeling is so much better then you thought? It wasn't just because of the impressive mountains, the fabulous light, the inspiring people I met, or the adventurous Elopement I was honored to photograph.
The magic all these little things created together topped all my imaginations and made me wanna go back to this place ASAP.
I couldn't imagine any place in this world that fits better to Megan and Zach's adventurous souls than Yosemite. They drove the whole way up from Austin, Texas, to elope surrounded by the Californian mountains. The weather made this special wedding day even more exciting. When I saw the snowflakes falling in the morning, my heart made a joyful leap. And to top this all, right when we drove into Yosemite Valley, it started to get a bit warmer, and even a few sun rays made their way through the clouds. The best thing about snowy winter weather is that most people stay at home, and we had all these amazing places just for ourselves. We couldn't have wished for a perfect wedding day.
There's nothing that makes me happier than capturing candid love stories surrounded by a beautiful
landscape. And this Yosemite Elopement outreached all my dreams. You can really see how much they feel at home when they are together in nature and how deep and genuine they are in love. It's hard to describe how much I loved capturing their big day and how much fun we had together. But I think the pictures say it all by themselves.
